Ryan White Title II
The two organizations responsible for management
of Ryan White CARE Act Title II programs in the 10 county-area
covered in the Title III partnership are AID Upstate (Greenville,
Anderson, Pickens, and Oconee Counties) and Upper Savannah
Care Services (Laurens, Greenwood, McCormick, Abbeville, Saluda,
and Edgefield Counties). The intent of Title II programs is
to improve the quality of health care and provide support
services for people living with HIV disease. Some of the services
available are based on specific criteria. If you want to find
out if you are eligible please see your case manager. Some
of these services include emergency assistance with housing
and utilities, payment assistance for medical insurance, assistance
paying for HIV medications, case management, education, and
resource referrals. Case managers can also help people (through
outside sources) get assistance with their HIV medications
as well as helping people with their Social Security applications.
Case managers are available by making an appointment. For
an appointment with a case manager call the office providing
services in the county in which you live.
